JLofts Greenwich is centrally located in one of Connecticut’s most cultural, sophisticated, and charming New England towns, Greenwich, CT. The town has a rich history, having been established in 1640 and is known for successful pristine beaches, cultural attractions, celebrity residents, fine dining, boutique shopping and exciting entertainment.

CULINARY DELIGHTS
From locally owned restaurants to sweet pastry shops, Greenwich has something to satisfy everyone’s tastes.
- Tony’s at the J House in the Riverside section of Greenwich, CT is a fine dining adventure. As an Italian Steakhouse featuring MIKU Sushi Bar, diners can enjoy a meal on the patio, bar or main dining room and delight in handmade pastas, USDA Prime – dry aged steaks and unique desserts (be sure to try the Nutella Stuffed French Toast!).
- By the Way Bakery has four locations and is an old-fashioned bakery where everything is made by hand, from scratch, in small batches. Baked goods are also certified Kosher and gluten and dairy free. With temptations such as the Chocolate Truffle Torte, Five Seed Sourdough, Blondies and Lemon Layer cake there is a treat for everyone to enjoy.
- Britt & Co. Bagel is a locally owned, small business known for baking fresh bagels for custom orders. Bagels are not only baked in unique flavors, but they can also be designed to replicate special characters (yes, there is a bagel that represents The Grinch, Flounder from The Little Mermaid, Yoda, and even Barbie) as well as company logos, making them the perfect party dish.
- Happy Monkey is a fun-loving Latin restaurant from world-renowned Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, located on Greenwich Avenue. Happy Monkey embraces fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a distinctly Latin approach to dining socially. A place to meet, eat and drink any night of the week.
GREENWICH AVE
A trip to Greenwich would not be complete without visiting some of the boutiques on Greenwich Avenue. Known as the “Rodeo Drive of the East Coast” this is luxury shopping at its best.
- Fred Accessories is part of the FRED stores and features accessories from handbags to jewelry to shoes and more. Known for carrying sophisticated styles, Fred Accessories features brands like NATHAN&MOE, LAMARQUE and more. - Lugano Diamonds is a unique shopping experience, where guests are invited to customize each private visit to the salon located at 240 Greenwich Avenue. Lugano Diamonds creates one-of-a-kind wearable works of art. Collections include bracelets, earrings, rings as well as curated collections for bridal, equestrian and more.

CULTURAL ATTRACTIONS
- The Bruce Museum is a world-class institution highlighting art, science and natural history in more than a dozen changing exhibitions annually. The permanent galleries feature the natural sciences that encompass regional to global perspectives. Greenwich Arts Council provides residents with an amazing tour of where to find sculptures, pop-up displays and seasonal art fairs.
- At the core of Greenwich Historical Society is the Bush-Holley House, a circa 1730 National Historic Landmark in the Cos Cob section of Greenwich. The house’s origin extends back to the early 18th century. The residence survived the war on the frontier between loyalists New York and patriot Connecticut and was home to people enslaved by the Bush family, who were among the last to experience emancipation in Connecticut.
- Greenwich Audubon Center stewards seven sanctuaries and private parcels (totaling 686 acres) in Greenwich, including the Main Sanctuary (and Audubon Center). The Main Sanctuary features the Hardwood forests, open fields, a lake, streams, and vernal pools, as well as remnants of early homestead settlement.
- The Capitol Theatre is Westchester’s premier rock palace. With state-of-the-art light, sound and video systems as well as newly renovated common areas and the unique Lobby Bar, Garcia’s, in honor of the late Grateful Dead guitarist and singer, who counted the Port Chester, N.Y., rock palace among his favorite venues in the country, music lovers of all types will have an amazing experience at the Capitol. Enjoy shows, book for private events and collect amazing merch.
OUTDOOR ADVENTURES
- Nestled in the beautiful backcountry of Connecticut, Greenwich Polo Club was established in 1981 and is recognized as one of the elite high-goal polo venues in the world. Known for its unmatched roster of legendary teams, professional players, and champion equine athletes, fondly known as polo ponies. Each Sunday match is attended by more than 2,000 spectators flocking from New York City, Fairfield and Westchester counties, to witness the highest caliber of polo while enjoying an afternoon with friends and family. Greenwich Polo Club has also hosted many dignitaries and celebrities and in 2013 Prince Harry chose Greenwich Polo Club to host the Sentebale Royal Salute Polo Cup.
- Greenwich Point Park is a 147.3-acre Town-owned beach and recreation facility in Old Greenwich, CT. Also known by locals as “Tod’s Point,” it was the former estate of J. Kennedy Tod and many historic buildings still exist in the park. Among them are the Innis Arden Cottage, Seaside Garden and Cowbarn Building, and the Chimes Building. Concessions, restrooms, picnic areas, and walking trails are also found at Greenwich Point. Home to Old Greenwich Yacht Club, there is also a boatyard and a launch for boats and kayaks. - Great Captain Island is a 17.2-acre Town-owned island with a historic lighthouse that was built in 1868. Visitors ride a ferry from Greenwich, CT, and will find picnic and camping areas as well as a beach in Long Island Sound. Facilities include restrooms, showers, water fountains, picnic tables, and grills. There is also a 911 memorial and bird sanctuary at Great Captain Island.
- Playland is an amusement park in Rye, New York, located only 15 minutes from The J House Greenwich. It is a National Historic Landmark located on the Long Island Sound, built in 1928. Visitors will enjoy rides and attractions, games and arcades, the Playland Beach and pool with new waterfront slide and browse the Sun & Sea Shop. Entertainment includes seasonal fireworks, concerts, shows and more the entire family will enjoy. Open June through September.
- The Stamford Museum & Nature Center is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of art and popular culture, the natural and agricultural sciences, and history. The Museum is a vital cultural and educational resource for the community, and a focal point for family activity, lifelong learning, and inspiration. Seasonal events, festivals, farm markets, educational classes, summer camp programs and private events all take place at the Center.
